Julep Maven Box (April 2013)

So I know this is super late but I wanted to post photos from my April Julep Maven Box. This month consisted of their "Turn on the Brights" campaign. I was very excited for these colors as summer was right around the corner and there's nothing like a nice bright toe during summer in a cute pair of sandals.

When I took my style quiz on the Julep site I was told that my style is Classic with a Twist. I took the test multiple times and each time that's what it came up with so I just had to accept that my style does lean more on the classic side.

For the month of April the selections for my style were:

I was also excited about this month because the extra feature was the Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum. I have a really hard time with my cuticles they are always dry and peeling and I try so hard to let them be but I can't then I make it worst for myself.
Every month you get this cute black box. The monthly subscription is 19.99 and it's auto drafted from your account. You do have the option to skip a month if you need that money for other items in your budget. You also can chose to get another box that isn't your style profile if you like those colors better.

There is always a little postcard sized flyer in the box that describes what is in the box and other cute helpful tips.

The Julep team also always makes the inside of the box so pretty. You feel like you're getting a birthday present every month.

Here's the nail serum I was touching on earlier.

Lastly here is a close up of April's nail selections.

I wanted to show a swatch of one of the colors. I had to go out of town due to a family emergency that month and I had my box with me so my aunt who is a nail technician did a quick manicure for me and she used the "Jackie" color for the flowers. Please keep in mind this picture was days after she gave me the manicure and it's a real picture that shows how bad my cuticles can get.

I just wanted to say that I was not paid in any way to post this and I spent my own money on this subscription and these are my opinions.
